Interesting thoughts on AI in this thread. I’m cynical of it myself but very aware of its potential—and the massive potential for misuse, abuse, and simple misinterpretation of it, which happens a lot.
Powerful but dangerous tech, for many obvious and not so obvious reasons.
One worry is what it does to executive functions. How does reliance or overuse of these technologies change how you think, even who you are as a person?
There’s going to be a lot of research conducted on the effects of this technology on humanity. Never before have we been able to replace thinking on such a wholesale level.
It's probably going to have impacts much like social media—potentially addictive, detrimental to attention span, and a source of blatant misinformation.
However, if you harness it wisely, it can be transformational.
Many won’t, sadly.
