$5/Month Vultr Hosting: WordPress Migration

I finally decided to move away from my relatively expensive dedicated WordPress hosting for my own site. While it was great hosting, I realized I didn't need all its features. Instead, I set up a $5/month Vultr instance, which is perfect for my needs. The setup was quick and easy, taking only about 20 minutes, thanks to a free control panel. It was well worth the effort!

With the money I saved from switching hosts, I might just treat myself to something simple and fun. Maybe I'll buy, I dunno... an egg?

My new site is much simpler now, essentially just an index page and three JavaScript files in a trench coat. I love a complicated CMS, but the overhead of management and constant updates can become a hassle. It's less enjoyable compared to just hacking together ideas, in my opinion.
